Connect IT Workshop, Nagpur 14th-17th Dec 09

It has been a wonderful experience to me. Most of us know how to operate computers, we also might be able to handle it in a very fine way, but here i learnt many things which take me to a new or say enhanced level of computing. The special thing that I learnt here was going socialized in a more professional manner. I am very sure that these things will be very helpful to me. Climate Change - A sad story.....

Hi ! Everybody........ Now a days everyone is talking about climate change..... lets understand what's this all about.... It is about the rise in global temperature resulting in the melting of glaciers further creating devastating effects by water-level rise of the oceans..... many of u must be knowing this..... according to Asia Chapter of UN Intergovernmantal Panel on Climate Change's Working Group II "Himalayan glaciers are receding faster than in any other part of the world and, if the present rate continues, the likelihood of them disappearing by the year 2035 and perhaps sooner is very high if the Earth keeps warming at the current rate." But Sadly Vijay Kumar Raina, formerly of the Geological Survey of India claims that the reports are mistaken, misleading and bogus. He concludes Evidently, the bogus reporting was based on measurements from only a handful of glaciers. I being a citizen of this planet called - MOTHER EARTH, want to ask Mr. Raina that if it is not so DANGEROUS then are we WAITING for the situation to go DANGEROUS and should we take measures after everything is gone out of hands ????
